  1. Cook spaghetti in salted boiling water until al dente; reserve 1/2 cup pasta water and drain.
  2. In a bowl whisk eggs and grated cheese together.
  3. Heat oil in a skillet; sauté garlic briefly; turn off heat.
  4. Add hot spaghetti to skillet; quickly pour egg mixture over, tossing to coat and adding reserved water a little at a time to create a creamy sauce.
  5. Season with salt and pepper and serve immediately.
