  1. Warm milk until lukewarm; stir in yeast and a pinch of sugar and let sit until foamy.
  2. In a bowl combine flour, sugar, and a pinch of salt; add yeast mixture, melted butter, and egg to form a soft dough.
  3. Knead dough for 5–7 minutes, then place in a greased bowl, cover, and let rise until doubled (about 1 hour).
  4. Roll out dough into a rectangle; brush with melted butter and sprinkle evenly with brown sugar mixed with cinnamon.
  5. Roll up from long side and slice into 12 pieces; place in a greased baking dish.
  6. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 20–25 minutes or until golden brown.
